About Kaye Shu

I am Kaye who runs my atelier in Hong Kong to create works that promote joy and to encourage the artist in all of us.

Started off with mandatory cursive penmanship in primary school in Hong Kong and subsequently a calligraphy course in college in Boston, Massachusetts, I got drawn into the rabbit hole of exploring to create with pens and colors. After years of working in the arts and luxury retail world, I jumped onto the bandwagon of making my creative life full time.  

With a pencil, marker, calligraphy pen or a paint brush, the possibilities are endless. A simple word, a prose, a small illustrative piece or a large painting, the blank page is for one to dabble and make marks to delight oneself or someone.

I teach, I work on commissions and I also sell my works.
